Thanksgiving in the MTC

Dear Family and Friends,

Thanks for all the warm wishes! Thanksgiving was awesome here at the MTC, but very busy! They always keep us on a schedule.

I'm so glad to hear that you had fun in Fresno, even if it was adventure getting there! I'm also glad to hear that the family is well.  That's crazy that Amanda is engaged!! You'll have to tell that stinker to write me! ha ha JK. But I would like to have my sister's and new brothers to write me. It's a lot easier to have then write then for me to email them just because I don't have a lot of time on the computer.

It was very cool at the MTC on Thanksgiving.  We got to hear from Elder Nelson.  He and his wife did an awesome job on their talks.  One thing I missed was my family! I'm so glad that I'm in the family I'm in. I'm so thankful for the blessing to have such a wonderful Mom and Dad.  You have helped me with so much and have given me so much, I can never repay you! And I miss you like crazy!  And I love you!

To answer Mom's questions...

1.How are my classes?
OK. I'm in class from 7:00 am to 9:30 pm.  The only time that I'm not in the classroom is when I'm eating or sleeping. I really like all of my teachers.  They all have a great love for the Lord and all wish they could still be a missionary!
2. Have I taught any investigators?
Yes, on the second day in the MTC we started teaching. We have 6 now. I can't wait until we have more!  It's kind of crazy how much I love each and everyone of them!

I don't have much time remaining so I'll just tell you this...The MTC is the hardest thing I've ever done! Even with all the preparing I did, it wasn't enough.  I was telling someone today that when I was preparing for my mission, I learned what a missionary was and not HOW to be missionary! The Lord wants me to be his missionary and not what I think a missionary is! The Lord loves us and wants all to live with Him!

I hope to hear from all of my friends and family soon!

Love,
Sister Andersen
